Our Beliefs
Our Statement of Faith is a declaration of what we believe about God, His Word, His Salvation and His Purpose.
What we Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. The Scriptures reveal God’s will for mankind and are sufficient for salvation, sanctification, and guiding believers in righteous living. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe in one eternal God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is eternal, sovereign, holy, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. He is the Creator of all things, and He is perfect and unchanging. All things exist for His glory. (Isaiah 45:5-7, Matthew 28:19)
We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died for our sins. His atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension to the Father guarantee the salvation of all who repent and believe in Him. (John 1:14, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
We believe in the full deity of the Holy Spirit who actively works in the believer’s life, empowering for service, guiding into all truth, and convicting of sin. The Spirit indwells every believer, sanctifies them, and equips them to live in obedience to God’s will. (John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8)
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but through Adam's fall, all humanity became enslaved to sin. Every person is born with a sinful nature, separated from God. Only through faith in Jesus Christ can one be reconciled to God and receive eternal life (Romans 5:12, Ephesians 2:1-3).
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a gift from God, not based on human works. Justification is by faith, sanctification by the Holy Spirit, and glorification for all who are in Christ is eternal. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 5:1)
We believe in the personal, bodily return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, to establish His eternal Kingdom, and to bring all things under His rule. Until His return, we are called to live in holiness, evangelize the lost, and await His glorious coming. (Titus 2:13, Revelation 22:12)
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. The Church exists to worship God, preach the gospel, disciple believers, and serve the world. It is united in Christ and called to live according to His Word. (Ephesians 1:22-23, Matthew 28:19-20)
